"If people were taught how to listen at a very young age, there wouldn't nearly be so many difficulties interacting with one another," he insists. And, while the positive effects of exposing infants to Shudder's latest disc, 50,000 B.C. haven't been proven, it definitely serves as a powerful musical elixir. Filled with Shudder's trademark stuttering rock-n-rowl, songs like "Kissesmack of Past Action" and "Call of the Playground" offer a powerful mixture of Wedren's strange trills and guitarist Nathan Larson's hard-edged riffs.
